With over 1,600 square feet of space, we are able to
accommodate a larger than usual control
room (18 x 24), a second control room (Studio
"B" - 10' x 12'), one large room (22x25), and 2
isolation rooms. Careful consideration was given to the
placement of doors, windows and sound absorbing material. Angled
walls help in the sound acoustics of this studio, and double wall
construction provides for very quiet recording conditions.
Our facility is actually constructed from two totally different
buildings set side by side which provides for great sound
isolation between the rooms.
The wiring of a studio plays a vital role in it's function and
sound. There is over a mile of wire in Lab 32 connecting each
booth with the control room.
The heart of the studio is a 64 input recording console
and a 24 input sound card. Even though we record directly to
computer with copy/paste/edit functions, we are still compatible
with 32 tracks of ADAT recording as well. We can accommodate
whichever format you need.
